Creemos firmemente que el conocimiento debe servir para la transformaci\u00f3n social, por lo cual nuestro trabajo se enmarca en tres ejes: centro de investigaci\u00f3n, agente de transformaci\u00f3n y difusor de conocimiento.<br>En concordancia con nuestros ejes de trabajo, URBES-LAB organiza la Conferencia acad\u00e9mica Internacional en Investigaci\u00f3n Urbana y Rural en el Per\u00fa y Am\u00e9rica Latina \u2013 CIUR, que constituye el evento central de nuestras actividades de diseminaci\u00f3n acad\u00e9mica. Este evento tiene por finalidad de difundir las investigaciones en estudios urbanos y territoriales realizadas a nivel pregrado y postgrado, y aproximar estos hallazgos a la sociedad civil organizada, investigadores, estudiantes, acad\u00e9micos, tomadores de decisiones, hacedores de pol\u00edticas, y p\u00fablico interesado.<br>Promoviendo la democratizaci\u00f3n al acceso al conocimiento, el CIUR fue un evento acad\u00e9mico gratuito, incluyente y motor de transformaci\u00f3n social. Su segunda edici\u00f3n fue llevada a cabo el 11, 12 y 13 de marzo de 2024 del CIUR en la sede de UTEC (Lima, Per\u00fa), en modalidad h\u00edbrida. Su aspiraci\u00f3n de convocar al mayor n\u00famero de participantes quienes regularmente no tienen acceso a eventos acad\u00e9micos de alto nivel fue cumplida, al haber convocado a cerca de 80 ponentes organizados en 13 sesiones y m\u00e1s de 100 participantes de Per\u00fa y otros pa\u00edses latinoamericanos.<br>Esta respuesta positiva nos incentiva a seguir realizando este evento en los a\u00f1os siguientes, para as\u00ed cristalizar uno de los prop\u00f3sitos centrales de URBES-LAB: acercar el conocimiento cient\u00edfico a aquellos quienes puedan hacer uso de \u00e9l sin intermediarios.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-content-justification-center is-layout-flex wp-container-core-buttons-is-layout-3e41869c wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button has-custom-width wp-block-button__width-75 has-custom-font-size has-medium-font-size\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/www.urbeslab.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/LIBRO-DE-RESUMENES-II-CIUR-Version-final.pdf\" style=\"padding-top:35px;padding-bottom:35px\">DESCARGAR<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>El Centro de Investigaci\u00f3n en Estudios Urbanos y Territoriales URBES-LAB es una asociaci\u00f3n sin fines de lucro dedicada a la realizaci\u00f3n de investigaci\u00f3n en temas urbanos y territoriales, que pueda tener impacto en la pol\u00edtica p\u00fablica y la sociedad.
